WELCOME TO THE 20TH
ELMER HOHL RINGER CLASSIC
MAY 24th & 25th, 2008

This year we have 131 players including 15 juniors. Hopefully the weather will co-operate to help make this the best year ever. A schedule, payouts and game results will be posted on bulletin board at edge of driveway.

A few things to remember:

1. Register 1 hour before your scheduled playing time. If you are unable to play a phone call to 519-656-2271 would be appreciated.
2. 2008 membership cards will be checked. Please have yours ready.
3. Name shirts and closed-in footwear must be worn at time of registration in order for you to receive your round robin cards.
4. A tie for first place in any division must be decided on the courts.
5. A tie at the end of a shoe game must be broken by going down and back until a winner is decided.
6.  Score keepers and judges - signup with Jean Markle at game related items table.
7. Banquet tickets - $12.00 per adult, $10.00 for vegetarians, and $6.00 for children 12 and under. Get your tickets from Jean Markle.
8. Camping – Check in at large hall before setting up camp. Someone will collect camping fee on Saturday or Sunday.
9. Alcohol – No drinking on the courts.
10. Payouts and/or awards – will be handed out approximately 1 hour after final game in your division is finished. All classes except “A” classes get paid ½ way down. If there is 9 in a group- 5 gets paid, 8 in a group – 4 gets paid, 7- 4gets paid, 6- 3 gets paid. If you are in the top half and can’t stay around to receive it, have someone accept it on your behalf. Tell Wayne or Darlene who is doing this for you.

With everyone’s co-operation we can keep this tournament running smoothly and on time, making sure your fellow opponents and the tournament committee have an enjoyable day.
